Most wellness tracking asks you to buy hardware — a band, a ring, a watch. EyeZenith takes its readings from the phone camera instead, so there is nothing extra to buy, charge or remember to wear.
What camera-first means in practice
- No purchase — nothing new to buy or justify.
- No charging — your phone is always ready.
- No friction — the camera is always with you, so the habit survives a busy day.
What the camera readings cover
A front-camera reading takes about a minute and gives you a relative eye-fatigue score. A camera-PPG method — a finger over the rear camera with the torch on — can also estimate HRV. These are consumer wellness estimates rather than clinical measurements, and they are meant for comparison against your own earlier readings.
Wearables as a bonus, not a requirement
If you already wear an Apple Watch, your HRV flows in automatically. If you do not, the camera covers it. Either way, you are never blocked from checking in.
A reading you actually take is more useful than one you meant to take.
Fewer barriers, more consistency
A daily reading is only useful if you keep taking it. Using the camera removes the steps that usually break the habit — buying a device, charging it, wearing it.
