Auto Train Brain is an artificial intelligence-based mobile application that supports cognitive development for individuals with dyslexia, atypical autism, attention deficit, and intellectual disabilities.

The application creates personalized training programs based on EEG signals. It aims to improve reading skills and accelerate brain maturation through neurofeedback and multi-sensory learning techniques.

Easy to use and non-invasive, Auto Train Brain delivers effective results with 30-minute sessions at least three times per week. Clinicians and families can remotely view activity reports to track individual progress.

Thanks to its clinically proven effects, it provides 2-fold improvement in areas such as reading comprehension, reading speed, writing, attention, memory, and socialization.

Supported by Sabanci University, TUBITAK, KOSGEB, and the European Union, the application has USA patent registration and has gained international recognition.

Are you sending an electrical signal to the brain?

It's not possible. Only the signals from the brain are read from the EEG head. Visual and auditory feedback is provided via the cell phone.

Are there any side effects of the procedure?

A human clinical study of our training has been completed and no side effects have been reported.

For which age group is the training suitable?

All age groups between 4 and 80 can benefit from the training.

Does this training depend on language?

No, it is not. This training is based on brain-computer interfaces and is a language-independent, neurofeedback-based training.

Should we do the training every day?

If possible, it should be done every day; if not, it should be done at least 3 days a week.

Which protocols should be used?

When starting the first training, 15 minutes of Dream1-NF3 and 15 minutes of Dream2-NF3 should be used. After the training, a book should be read.

After 1 month, the training recommended by the artificial intelligence should be continued.

How can I track progress?

After 1 month of starting the training, development begins to reflect in life. From the reports, we observe that the individual's data is closer to the normal data for their age group.

How long should I use the training?

A 6-month usage is recommended for dyslexia. A 12-month usage is recommended for epilepsy and intellectual disabilities.

Can we use it together with medications to enhance attention?

Yes, it is possible. You should complete the training before taking your daily medications. However, if you are using medication for epilepsy, you should take the medication first and then use the application.

Do we have to use it continuously?

No. Our application enhances cognitive abilities in a way that eliminates the need for further use later on.

Will there be any regression if we stop using the application?

If underlying allergies or autoimmune issues persist, there may be some regression, but not to the extent that the child's reading will be reversed. If there are no allergies, the training results of the application are permanent.

Can we extend the subscription after 6 months?

Yes, this is possible.

How many minutes should we use it every day?

30 minutes of training will be sufficient. Normally, we start with Dream1-NF3 and Dream2-NF3 in the first month and continue based on the AI's recommendations. After the training, 15 minutes of reading is recommended.

How long should we use the app?

It depends on the child's condition. If there is dyslexia and no comorbidities such as ADHD or epilepsy, 3 to 6 months of training will be sufficient. If there are additional conditions, 9 or 12 months of training is recommended. For mental retardation, 1.5 years of use is recommended.

Which one should we buy, a 5-channel headset or a 14-channel headset?

Results will reflect in real life faster with more channels.

With a 5-channel headset, you will need to double the training time.

What is the difference between 1-channel neurofeedback and your solution?

Dyslexia and all other learning difficulties are symptoms of disconnection, meaning there is low synchronization between regions within the hemisphere. In the literature, the effectiveness of 1-channel neurofeedback is 0.3 (Breteler et al., 2010).

Our solution, however, applies QEEG-based neurofeedback to the entire brain using 14 channels, which results in a much higher effectiveness of 0.88 (Eroğlu et al., 2020).

Should it be a one-time training or should we repeat it every year?

It is a one-time training for 6-9 months. After that, the child does not need any additional special education and can continue with their normal academic education.

If we stop using it, will there be any regression?

30% of people with dyslexia have metabolic issues. Metabolic problems negatively affect brain performance, and brain performance also negatively affects metabolism. If metabolic issues are not treated separately, regressions will occur.

Device Compatibility

There may be usage issues with Huawei phones, Galaxy Tab, or Huawei tablets.

Login Issues

If you’re having login problems, you may have forgotten your password.

You must be connected to a network via Wi-Fi or GPRS.

Headset Channel Compatibility

If 8 or more channels out of the 14 channels in the headset are working, you can get efficient results with Auto Train Brain software.

Subscription Period

Your subscription is extended for the duration your headset is in maintenance.

Performance Issues on Android Phones

Screen freezing may occur when the phone’s power is insufficient and the child’s neurofeedback needs are very high.

In this case, it’s recommended to do 5-minute activities.

It’s also advised to have the child examined by a neurologist.

If you download and use the application for free, your account will be canceled after 15 days.

Copyright and Video Usage

Some YouTube videos may be copyrighted. You may not be able to use these videos in Auto Train Brain.

Spotify Mode

In Spotify mode, you can play music, audiobooks, and YouTube videos in the background.

EEG Device Connection

First, open the EMOTIV LAUNCHER application on your phone and connect the EEG device to this application.

Make sure your Bluetooth is turned on.

Then start Auto Train Brain and press “Query Device” to view the connected device. Proceed by pressing continue.

Dream Modes

Use Dream-1 and Dream-2 NF3 modes for 15 minutes each.

After usage, do activities like reading books or solving tests.

Consult a neurologist after 2-3 months for protocol changes.

Default Mode Measurements

Take measurements in Default mode for 2 minutes before starting use.

After 30 minutes of neurofeedback, take measurements in Default mode for another 2 minutes.

Measurements taken in Default mode provide more accurate information.

Connection and Neurofeedback Issues

If no Arrow is displayed or you’re not earning points during neurofeedback:

You may have a connection problem.Your brain may not need neurofeedback.You can try another protocol.

If entropies stay at 0 when you press “Start”:

You have a connection problem.Clear ATB from memory, restart, and ensure the connection is stable.

Headset and Connection Drops

If the connection between the headset and Auto Train Brain frequently drops during sessions, make sure the headset is fully charged.

EMOTIV LAUNCHER Connection

If you see 0% connection in EMOTIV LAUNCHER, make sure the pads are sufficiently wet.
